SIOUX FALLS, South Dakota, Jan. 22 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service - South Dakota Field Office issued the following news release:
All layers in South Dakota during December 2019 totaled 2.68 million, down from 2.82 million the previous year, according to the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service.
