WASHINGTON, Jan. 16 -- Rep. Debbie Dingell, D-Michigan, issued the following statement on Michigan joining a leading lawsuit against manufactures that produced and failed to clean up PFAS chemicals:
"Michigan is ground zero for PFAS contamination. It is everywhere including our non-stick cookware, food containers, carpets, clothing, cosmetics, firefighting foam, and - most frighteningly - our drinking waters. Congress continues to work on legislation to clean up these 'forever . . .
