WASHINGTON, Jan. 11 -- Rep. Josh Gottheimer, D-New Jersey, issued the following statement with Rep. Tom Reed, R-New York, on the House passage of the PFAS Action Act (H.R. 535):
We have known for decades that per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are forever chemicals that have been linked to numerous adverse health effects, including cancers and impaired child development.
