WASHINGTON, Jan. 11 -- Rep. Tomaz Malinowski, D-New Jersey, issued the following remarks on Jan. 10:
The House passed H.R. 535, the PFAS Action Act, a bipartisan bill to regulate PFAS chemicals, clean up contamination, and protect public health. Representative Malinowski's amendment to add stain, water, and grease resistant coatings to the list of products eligible for a voluntary label indicating the absence of PFAS also passed.
