WASHINGTON, Jan. 9 -- Rep. Andy Kim, D-New Jersey, issued the following statement on the developments between the U.S. and Iran:
"The President's remarks give me hope that we have an opportunity to de-escalate this crisis with Iran. While this is an important step forward, we should be clear that these remain threatening times.
