WASHINGTON, Dec. 17 -- Rep. Jan Schakowsky, D-Illinois, issued the following statement:
The U.S. House of Representatives passed two critical funding bills to keeping our government open and vital services operating. Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky, a Senior Chief Deputy Whip, voted NO on H.R. 1158 and voted YES on H.R. 1865. Schakowsky issued the following statement:
"As a daughter of immigrants, I am disappointed by the passage of today's national security appropri . . .
