JEFFERSON CITY, Missouri, Dec. 24 -- Missouri Secretary of State Jay R. Ashcroft issued the following news release:
Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft's Securities Division issued a final order to cease and desist against The Stock Exchange Trading Company LLC after the company misled a Rhode Island resident and falsely offered investment services.
On Aug. 20, 2019, the division received a call through its Investor Protection Hotline from a resident of Rhode Island. . . .
