WASHINGTON, Dec. 23 -- Rep. Daniel Lipinski, D-Illinois, issued the following statement regarding the Boeing's removal of Dennis Muilenburg as CEO:
"At a House Transportation Committee hearing in October, I grilled Dennis Muilenburg about whether the mistakes that Boeing made on the 737 Max that resulted in the deaths of 346 people in two crashes were the result of too much of a focus on the bottom line and whether anyone was being held accountable at Boeing.
