TRENTON, New Jersey, Dec. 20 -- The New Jersey Assembly Democrats issued the following news:

Prioritizing the health, safety and security of every New Jersey student-athlete, a bill requiring schools to develop and implement an emergency action plan in the event of a serious or potentially life-threatening sports-related injury received final legislative approval on Monday following a floor vote of 76-0 in the Assembly.
