Sen. Young Issues Statement on HHS Proposal Adopting Organ Donation Legislation

WASHINGTON, Dec. 18 -- Sen. Todd Young, R-Indiana, issued the following statement applauding Health and Human Services Department's announcement that it is proposing rules that would adopt performance measures that Sen. Young proposed in his legislation to bring greater accountability to the organ donation system:
"In Indiana there are more than 1,300 Hoosiers currently in need of a transplant, and nationally more than 113,000 people are waiting on an organ.
