Sen. Booker Issues Statement on New Jersey Passage of Criminal Justice Reform Measures

WASHINGTON, Dec. 16 -- Sen. Cory Booker, D-New Jersey, member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, issued the following statement after the New Jersey legislature passed measures to restore criminal justice system:
"As the legislative year comes to a close, New Jersey has been hard at work reforming our criminal justice system so that it will treat incarcerated women with dignity, restore voting rights for formerly incarcerated individuals, and put a stop to hair discrimination. . . .
