WASHINGTON, Dec. 14 -- People for the American Way issued the following statement by President Michael Keegan on the House Judiciary Committee vote to approve and send to the House floor two articles of impeachment against President Trump:
"Today's vote to move ahead with articles of impeachment was the only option available in the face of such overwhelming evidence of Donald Trump's misdeeds.
"Speaker Pelosi is right when she says this is not a moment of joy . . .
