WASHINGTON, Dec. 13 -- Rep. Jim Banks, R-Indiana, issued the following statement on the House Judiciary Committee's vote on the articles of impeachment against President Trump:
"Having failed to convince the American people or produce any evidence that the president committed a high crime or misdemeanor, Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) and House Judiciary Democrats have determined to plow ahead anyway and vote to impeach the president on a party line vote.
