WASHINGTON, Dec. 13 -- Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-California, a member of the House House Judiciary and Permanent Select Intelligence committees, issued the following statement on the approval of articles of impeachment:
"Today, I voted to send articles of impeachment to the House of Representatives that will hold President Donald Trump accountable for his ongoing abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
