Rep. Sires Issues Statement After Resolution Disapproving Russia Inclusion in Future G-7 Summits Passes House

WASHINGTON, Dec. 3 -- Rep. Albio Sires, D-New Jersey, issued the following statement after his bipartisan resolution (H.Res.546) disapproving Russia's inclusion in future Group of Seven (G-7) summits until it respects the territorial integrity of its neighbors and adheres to the standards of democratic societies, passed the House by a 339-71 vote:
"In 2014, Russia was expelled from the Group of Eight as a direct result of its aggressive actions in Ukraine and the remaining . . .
