AUSTIN, Texas, Dec. 3 -- Gov. Greg Abbott, R-Texas, issued the following news release:
Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Matthew L. Ferrara, Ph.D. and Jan Langbein to the Texas Crime Victims' Institute Advisory Council for terms set to expire on January 31, 2020 January 31, 2021, respectivly. The council is charged with conducting an in-depth analysis of the impact of crime on victims, close relatives of deceased victims, guardians of victims and society.
