CHEYENNE, Wyoming, Nov. 30 -- Gov. Mark Gordon, R-Wyoming, issued the following news release, dated Nov. 27:
Governor Mark Gordon will officially proclaim Wyoming Women's Suffrage Day with a ceremony at the Wyoming State Capitol at 9 a.m. on December 10. The ceremony will commemorate the 150th anniversary of the passage of the first law in the United States guaranteeing women unconditional suffrage--their inherent right to vote and hold public office.
