WASHINGTON, Nov. 22 -- Sen. Maggie Hassan, D-New Hampshire, issued the following news release:

Today, U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), a senior member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, announced with U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan (D-NH) and Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02), that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded Claremont Municipal airport a $3 million federal grant. The federal funding was awarded under the agency's Airport Improvement Program (AIP).
