DETROIT, Michigan, Nov. 22 -- Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Michigan, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senators Debbie Stabenow (MI) and Gary Peters (MI) today announced that the Detroit Department of Transportation (DDOT) will receive a $8.49 million federal grant to purchase new buses, equipment and upgrade bus stations. This funding comes from the Federal Transit Administration's (FTA) Grants for Buses and Bus Facilities Program.
