Michigan State University Entomologists Lead Effort to Improve Beetle Identification

EAST LANSING, Michigan, Nov. 22 -- Michigan State University issued the following news release:

A team of scientists have developed a new online tool that will make it easier to identify Southeast Asian ambrosia beetles, a potentially destructive and invasive species.

Many insect species that are both pests and invasive in the United States are originally from Southeast Asia.
