BATON ROUGE, Louisiana, Nov. 22 -- Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry issued the following statement:
Earlier today, the Louisiana Supreme Court reaffirmed its power and duty to serve as the final authority on declarations of unconstitutionality in our state. In State of Louisiana v. Hodge, the Court declared non-unanimous jury verdicts constitutional.
