WASHINGTON, Nov. 21 -- Rep. Frank Pallone Jr., D-New Jersey, chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, issued the following statement after the Nuclear Waste Policy Amendments Act (H.R. 2699) was reported, as amended, to the House by voice vote:
