BATON ROUGE, Louisiana, Nov. 20 -- The Louisiana Democratic Party issued the following news release, dated Nov. 16:

Saturday, the Louisiana Democratic Party released a statement congratulating Democratic legislative candidates and thanking them for stepping up to run. The Louisiana Democratic Party prevented a supermajority in the House, held House District 21 with C. Travis Johnson, and flipped House District 105 with Mack Cormier.
