WASHINGTON, Nov. 19 -- Rep. Frank Pallone Jr., D-New Jersey, chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, issued the following statement after the full committee passed the Alan Reinstein Ban Asbestos Now Act (H.R. 1603) by a 47-1 vote:
