Rep. Kim Issues Statement on Trump Administration Action on Costs of Defense Operations in South Korea

WASHINGTON, Nov. 18 -- Rep. Andy Kim, D-New Jersey, issued the following statement in response to reports that the Trump administration is demanding a 500 percent increase in payments to offset the costs of defense operations in South Korea:
"For nearly 70 years, the United States has had an unbreakable partnership with South Korea that has become the foundation to our security and prosperity in Asia and across the world.
