NYPA Partners With Port Authority to Complete Nearly $1.2 Million Lighting Upgrade at Jamaica Station in Queens

WHITE PLAINS, New York, Nov. 18 -- The New York State Power Authority issued the following news release:

The New York Power Authority (NYPA) and the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey have partnered to complete a nearly $1.2 million lighting upgrade at Jamaica Station in Queens. The energy-saving improvements will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by nearly 800 tons a year--the equivalent of taking roughly 150 cars off the road.
