BATON ROUGE, Louisiana, Nov. 18 -- Louisiana State University issued the following news release:
LSU has named Troy Blanchard as dean of the College of Humanities & Social Sciences. Blanchard has served as interim dean of the College of Humanities & Social Sciences and is a professor of sociology at LSU. He will assume his role as dean on Dec. 6, pending approval by the LSU Board of Supervisors.
