WASHINGTON, Nov. 14 -- The U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics issued the following article from The Economics Daily:
Nonfarm payroll employment increased over the year in 56 metropolitan areas and was essentially unchanged in the remaining 333 areas. The largest over-the-year percentage gains in employment occurred in Ocean City, New Jersey (+9.4 percent), Ithaca, New York (+6.5 percent), and Wilmington, North Carolina (+6.4 percent).
