WASHINGTON, Nov. 13 -- Rep. Alma S. Adams, D-North Carolina, issued the following statement on the Comcast vs. National Association of African American-Owned Media case in the Supreme Court:
"Today, the United States Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in the matter of Comcast Corp. v. National Association of African American-Owned Media -- a case that implicates the landmark Civil Rights Act of 1866.
