SACRAMENTO, California, Nov. 13 -- The Sacramento County Airport System issued the following news:

It's now easier than ever to get to the Hawaiian Islands from Sacramento. Southwest Airlines' new nonstop flight from Sacramento International Airport (SMF) to Honolulu's Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) officially began service today, November 10, following a week of celebrations at Fremont Park in Sacramento.
