WASHINGTON, Nov. 7 -- The Advisory Council on Historic Preservation issued the following news:

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP) announced Bell Artspace in New Orleans' Treme -- America's oldest African American neighborhood - as the recipient of the 2019 ACHP/HUD Secretary's Award for Excellence in Historic Preservation.
