WASHINGTON, Oct. 31 -- Rep. John Moolenaar, R-Michigan, issued the following news release:
Today, the family of former Congressman Robert Traxler announced that he passed away last night at the age of 88. Traxler represented parts of the Great Lakes Bay region in Congress from 1974 until 1993.
Traxler served our nation in the U.S. Army (1953-1955), and also held office as a state representative (1963-1974) and as a member of the MSU Board of Trustees (1993-2000).
