WASHINGTON, Oct. 31 -- Rep. Andre Carson, D-Indiana, a senior member of the House Intelligence Committee, issued the following statement on House passage of a resolution (H.Res. 660) that establishes the process and procedures for open hearings as the House moves forward with the next phase of the impeachment inquiry:
"The vote I took today to advance the public phase of our impeachment inquiry was done with a heavy heart, but with the strongest sense of urgency and necessity. . . .
