WASHINGTON, Oct. 31 -- Rep. Daniel Kildee, D-Michigan, issued the following statement after the death of ex-Michigan State Rep. J. Bob Traxler:
"I am very saddened to learn of the death of Congressman Bob Traxler. Born in Kawkawlin, Bob served our country in the U.S. Army before being elected to public office, where he served in the Michigan House of Representatives, U.S. Congress and later the Michigan State University Board of Trustees.
