WASHINGTON, Oct. 29 -- Rep. Haley Stevens, D-Michigan, issued the following news release:
This week, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.Res. 296, a bipartisan resolution to recognize and memorialize the Armenian Genocide.
The resolution states the historic facts of the Ottoman Empire's genocidal campaign against the Armenian people, as well as the Greeks, Assyrians, Chaldeans, Syriacs, and other religious and ethnic minorities, from 1915 to 1923, rejects effort . . .
