Rep. Slotkin Issues Statement on UAW-GM Agreement

WASHINGTON, Oct. 25 -- Rep. Elissa Slotkin, D-Michigan, issued the following statement on news that the United Automobile Workers would ratify its agreement with General Motors to end the strike. Slotkin's district includes two GM plants:
"Congratulations to the UAW and GM for reaching an agreement that ends the strike.
"This is a historic agreement that will provide a life-changing increase in pay for newer workers, quality and affordable health care for mem . . .
