WASHINGTON, Oct. 27 -- Sen. Maggie Hassan, D-New Hampshire, a member of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, issued the following statement on President Trump's announcement of the death of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi:
"I applaud the extraordinary efforts of our Intelligence Community, U.S. Special Operations Forces, and our allies in locating and killing al-Baghdadi.
