WASHINGTON, Oct. 27 -- Sen. Gary Peters, D-Michigan, a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, issued the following President Trump's announcement that the U.S. military operation in Syria killed ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi:
