OMAHA, Nebraska, Oct. 24 -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers issued the following news release:
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will stop releasing from Cherry Creek Dam Oct. 30 - Nov. 13 to accommodate inspection work at the stilling basin. This work is being conducted as part of routine dam safety program activities at Cherry Creek Dam.
The Corps has coordinated the inspection work with the state of Colorado.
