WASHINGTON, Oct. 22 -- Sen. Deb Fischer, R-Nebraska, and a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee and chairman of the subcommittee on Strategic Forces, issued the following statement on meeting with Vice Adm. Charles Richard after he was nominated to be the next Commander of STRATCOM:
