SALEM, Oregon, Oct. 7 -- The Oregon Department of Agriculture issued the following news release:
In September 2018, the ODA regulatory lab was issued approximately $900,000 from the Emergency Board to investigate the possibility of developing a test to quantify levels of cyanotoxins in processed food products. In the case of future incidents, this test has the potential to turn into an ODA fee-for-service to provide market assurance to food processors.
