LANSING, Michigan, Oct. 2 -- The Michigan Republican Party issued the following statement:
The following statement is from Michigan Republican Party Chairman Laura Cox regarding Governor Whitmer's $375 million in road funding cuts from the 2019-20 state budget.
In addition, Whitmer used her line-item veto power to cut 147 items from the budget. It's even been reported that Whitmer was so zealous with her line-item veto that she accidently cut funding from bot . . .
