WASHINGTON, Sept. 26 -- Rep. Brenda Lawrence, D-Michigan, issued the following news release:
Congresswoman Brenda Lawrence (MI-14) and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer announce a $9.7 million grant to the City of Detroit from the Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes (OLHCHH).
OLHCHH provides funds to state and local governments for the development of cost-effective ways to reduce lead-based paint hazards. . . .
