Sen. Fischer Issues Statement on U.S.-Japan Trade Agreement

WASHINGTON, Sept. 25 -- Sen. Deb Fischer, R-Nebraska, a member of the Senate Agriculture Committee, issued the following statement after President Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe signed phase one of the U.S.-Japan Trade Agreement, which will eliminate or lower tariffs for U.S. agricultural products:
"Nebraska welcomes this trade deal between the U.S. and Japan, which is the top export destination for Nebraska beef and a major buyer of our state's many agricultural . . .
