WASHINGTON, Sept. 24 -- Rep. Greg Walden, R-Oregon, ranking Republican member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, issued the following joint statement with Rep. Fred Upton, R-Michigan, ranking Republican member of the Subcommittee on Energy, applauding the announcement of pipeline safety rules from the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration:
