Rep. Upton Issues Statement on Provision of $1 Million to Michigan Department of Health & Human Services

WASHINGTON, Sept. 25 -- Rep. Fred Upton, R-Michigan, issued the following statement after the Center for Disease Control and Prevention announced that $1 million will be provided to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services to look at the relationship by PFAS exposure and certain health outcomes in Parchment and Cooper Township, Michigan:

"This funding from the CDC will help expand the knowledge and understanding of the effects that PFAS has on our health - an import . . .
