OMAHA, Nebraska, Sept. 23 -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers issued the following news release:
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is increasing the releases at Jamestown and Pipestem Reservoirs today from 400 cubic feep per second to 800 cfs.
Heavy rain fell in the upper James River Basin on Friday and Friday night. Two to six inches of rain fell above both Jamestown and Pipestem Reservoirs. cauing Inflows to increase, and the reservoirs to rise.
