Nashville International Airport Sets New Record for Number of Screened Passengers in a Single Day

NASHVILLE, Tennessee, Sept. 23 -- The Nashville International Airport issued the following news release:
On Sunday, Sept. 22, a record-setting 32,654 departing passengers were screened through the TSA security checkpoint at Nashville International Airport (BNA), a new single-day record for BNA and a considerable increase over the comparable Sunday in 2018.
The previous record was set Sunday, May 5, 2019, with 29,731 screened passengers.
