LINCOLN, Nebraska, Sept. 12 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service - Nebraska Field Office issued the following news release:
Based on September 1 conditions, Nebraska's 2019 corn crop is a record forecast at 1.79 billion bushels, up slightly from last year's production, according to the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service. Area harvested for grain, at 9.65 million acres, is up 4 percent from a year ago. Average yield is forecast . . .
