WASHINGTON, Sept. 18 -- The Education and Labor Committee issued the following statement by Chairman Robert C. Scott, D-Virginia, at a markup of the Dignity in Aging Act (H.R. 4334) and the School Shooting Safety and Preparedness Act (H.R. 4301):
